What is IME looking out for?

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer who is passionate about quality, innovation, and building reliable digital products.

Quick note on your key responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Test assigned features and deliver quality assurance within defined project timelines.
  • Prepare comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to refine requirements into clear, testable user stories.
  • Perform both manual and automation testing to ensure product quality.
  • Identify, report, track, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing processes, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Hands-on experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management.
  • Familiarity with project management and issue-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Basic programming knowledge and experience with automation testing frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
